Book Review: The Wedding Dress

Author: Rachel Hauck

This book tells the story of 4 brides and how one magical wedding dress transformed their weddings and defined their lives.  The brides who wore the dress span the ages from the early part of the 20th century when segregation and Jim Crow laws ruled the day, to the depression, to the Viet Nam war and into our modern day.

I really enjoyed reading this book.  It held my interest and kept me entertained; honestly I had a hard time putting it down!  I found Emily the most endearing of all the brides, mainly because I love historical stories but also because she was so spirited and stood up for what is right.  I would highly recommend this book!
